Farmers transporting their harvest in Kyauk Se, Mandalay division
Agriculture is the main industry in Myanmar and employ much of the country's working people. But the proper mechanization and good management is still a far away achievement. The life of the majoriety of farmers have seen no improvement during many years. In the picture above the farmers of Kyauk Se ( a farming region 45km south of Mandalay ) are loading their harvest onto the card drawn by two oxen.
In the distance are foot hills of Shan mountains to the east.
