An ox cart in a village
Village life in rural Myanmar. Ox carts or bullock carts are the major means of land transport. In this sketch a farmer comes back home with his bullock cart passing through the village at dusk.
Oxen and buffalos are used at the farms to plough ( plow ) the land, for transportation, in post harvest processing, etc. People often travel from village to village using ox or buffalo drawn carts.
